That's so cool. I thought my 16 yrold would be like whatever when it came to riding, I mean we do a lot together with her Sports travel and such . But she's not happy if I'm out riding without her. the wife has no desire to ride anymore so it is a nice Father /Daughter time for us.
We put a few 100 miles on this weekend alone just local riding and went today to find her a Nice Shift Jacket she eyed up at a show but they didn't have her size. I wear a Modular but will be going 1/2 with the weather change, I just gave her no option and let her pick her FF out.
She plays SPorts heavy so knows proper equipment is a must, she's recovering from a Partial ACL tear right now and the Bike is doing her good to loosen it up. But I do understand the Closed in the OPs and others feel , like they said at least they are wearing something and if like me I give a bit more room and drive a bit more defensive with her on the back.

I loved riding with my kids when they were young. One of the scariest moments on a bike for me was a buddy riding his 8 YO son. The kid fell asleep and started falling over. I was able to pull beside him and get him stopped. It made me rethink the kid thing, so I started slapping them on the knees every once in a while and they had to tap me back.
My daughter is 26 now. She wont go with me any more. But her friends are always willing. I must say I don't mind at all! Thats a sample of her friends in the pic.
My daughter (9) has been out with me a handful of times (too cold so far this year, but soon ) and she absolutely loves it. Wife's not so keen on the harley and has only been out with me once since having our daughter (regardless of bike). Daughter is always a willing pillion though
That reminds me of me and my daddy back in the day.... wonder if she'll end up like me.... that rumble was deep down in my soul from early on. If he was on that Harley, I wanted to be too....
I gotta get her some boots, and a decent leather jacket, but she's almost there. We went and got her a pair of "Motorcycle sunglasses" and she keeps askin', "When we goin' ridin' again?" As soon as the weather gets a little nicer, I am going to take off work early and go pick her up from school on it.
You are all lucky and blessed men.Was tearing up while smiling looking at their faces! I have no children and at my age I highly doubt it is an option so I REALLY enjoyed these pics. Beautiful kids and bikes that really bring up Harley's older ad campaign that i understand SO well now owning one:'Things are different on a Harley' Amen and God Bless!!!
