these bikes sit so low that any type of aggressive riding will have you dragging bike parts..

Dragging a peg is ok. Dragging a knee? Not on an HD.

To be truly impressive, ride curves at a decent pace and don't drag anything...

I'd say I do a fair amount of scraping. I've raced sport bikes and know how to position myself and the bike. If you ride aggressive, your bound to scrape stuff on an HD.

Personally never leaned bike that far down but a couple years ago, a friend of mine who rides an electra glide had his feet resting on the floorboard, angled out a bit & when he leaned way over in a turn, the asphalt caught the front of his boot & snapped his foot around - broke his ankle in that turn! (Yeah, he does have long feet.) ...ouch!!

I drag my sneaker on certain turns.... 30mph 90degree turns.... But I usually control the amount of drag that happens... On some turns I have to take my foot off the peg because it folds up most of the way lol...
Just put my 13 1/4" ohlins on two days ago..... Now I'm only dragging one spot on the frame on right handers.
