Does anyone know of a air cleaner cover for se stage one on 08-2010 dyna's that replaces the stock cover, or do I need to purchase the round stage one assembly? I have searched and connot find anything.
ya you either have to get a round one or use the stocker. there is a guy on here that will make a pretty sweet cover for the stocker, loner industries i think, let me see if I can find that.

Yea, I've noticed he has a custom cut cover to fit his '08-'10 SE filter...but I've never seen him mention he offers it for other folks.
Well I guess I try to make one I have a sheet of black kydex I'll try, Ill post pics later today. Just want something different, and dont know exactly which one I like yet.

I'll be lookin' forward to seeing your pic...not everyone wants to go with a round backing plate/air filter.
I'm a bit surprised vendors don't offer a custom cut teardrop style cover for the newer bikes...seems to me there could be enough interest for it.
Could you tell me what the cover looks like when you take that ring/emblem label off. I did the stage one but never took that ring off and replaced it with the screaming eagle one. I know it is just glued on but is it in good enough to leave plain ? without putting another ring/emblem back on ??? thx

Looks fine, have seen a few going without the trim ring.
Easy to remove to see if you like it. Just remove the cover and apply a little heat, I used a heat gun from the back side, warm it up good (just hot to touch not hot enough to burn you!) and with gentle pressure the ring will come right off with zero damage, the adhesive stays stuck to the ring and you can even re-use the adhesive to put it back on. I have had mine off a couple of times, once to swap covers due to a scratch and a second time to change the trim ring. Once you have the ring off use a little wd-40 to remove the glue residue.
