In this hard long winter i spent again some time in the garage.
Here are the mods for 2010.
The bike started in 2007 as a Street Bob. Now she has:
- double disc brakes conversion in front with V-Rod Brembo calipers
- front wheel chrome disc V-Rod wheel with 120/70R19
- rear wheel chrome disc from '06 Nighttrain with 200/55R17

The Speed Bob get's an professional airbrush work in a few weeks. The artist want's to prepare it for the biggest custombike show in europe. It's the "Custombike" in december here in germany.

The number plates here are a big ****. Mine is the smallest legal one with 200mm x 200mm. The size depends on the town you live here. In some citys people have to ride with 220x200, 240x200 and even 260x200. To make a smaller by your own is not possible. Cop's are everywhere and they would stop you and give a fat ticket.
The rear fender is made out of a BK Fender. You can get them in severel sizes. The fender struts where cuttet by an cnc laser machine, pressed in form and then chromed.
I did the front end conversion very simple. I sold the original front fork legs from the street bob for 400,-$ at ebay and ordered 2 new ones from the fat bob at Chicago HD for 550,-$ (they give 20% off). All the other parts are used or/and cheap ones i bought at ebay and all the original parts i sold there. After all it was'nt very expensive to build this bike. Thank's ebay.
