Default Does this sound like a good deal on a 2005 lowrider?

I'm thinking of buying this bike:

- 2005 Lowrider
-3200 Miles
-Fuel Injected
-Aluminum Mag Wheels
-Factory Installed Security System
-Screaming Eagle Air Cleaner
-Reinhart Staggered Dual Pipes
-Low profile Sissy Bar
-Leather Harley Saddle Bags
-Chrome Laydown Tag Bracket
-All Synthetic Fluids run

They want $8600. I looked at it and besides a little corrosion on one of the pipes, it's in great shape.

That's a good price, it's about what I'd be asking for my bike and it's a 2004 with 8000 miles on it.

With thst low mileage...I would say get it if you like it. I would offer them $8000 and see if they bite.

They owe $8620 on it still.

Can any of you tell me if any changes to the frame/shocks have been made on LR's between 2005 and 2009?

2006 New frame, front forks, 6 speed. Completely different bike.

2005 is last year for the narrow glide with hood over the headlight and actually I don't know of any issues with the 2005 so with that low of milage it's a good buy.

Damn, didn't realize they were that different. Guess that's why the 2008-2009's I've been seeing with way more miles are $12-14k.

That is a fair price, if there are no issues. In fact it seems that just about any clean full-size Harley built in the last 20 years will bring close to that price.
