Default Slip-on Suggestions

I'm looking to add some slip-ons to my 2000 FXDX. I'm not going after a performance gain just want to have a good, deep sound and to get rid of the tapered look. The only limit I'm finding thus far is that not every slip-on is available in black, and the stock exhaust (and a lot of other stuff) is black on this bike. Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!

I have the Rush Slip-ons and love them! Mine have the 2" baffles but you can go as high as 2 1/4". I love the sound and highly recommend them. I do know they sell them in black too.

I checked out the Khromeworks before because I really liked how they sound but I don't think they're available in black. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Rush. They come in baloney, slash or tapered; and in black or chrome with your choice of baffle sizes from 1.5 to 2.25......

Excellent customer service as well

Find a set of the original SEII 80258-99a mufflers. They sound great.

Don't waste money on slip-ons that are close to $300. Such a waste of money.

Pythons are another option...follow the same line as heat shield, and variety of cuts, and finishes...I love the deep rich sound mine give

If I could get my hands on a set of those SE mufflers you're talking about SC-Longhair, I think I'd be set. I found the part number for the slash cut black ones (80334-99A) but I'm striking out finding any used ones floating around online. Does anyone know of any shops online that are good about having NOS (or gently used) parts? I guess Harley put the kibosh on HDMOCO shops selling them in July of '06.
