Neighbor wants to sell me his '98 Dyna Convertible. Needs $$. I can get it on the cheap ($8,000) Good Condition. He tells me these bikes had an electric problem didn't go into details with me. Not sure what he means. Can anyone fill me in? Were there issues back in the day? Please Help.
Not much to go on really. Mods, history, has it ever been crashed, etc..
I have a 96 FXDS and have had absolutely no electrical problems with it that weren't self-induced. When putting the starter back in years ago, the neutral switch wire got pinched under the starter and eventually wore through the insulation causing the neutral light to flicker. That's been it really.
