You have 49mm forks. They're pretty stiff. I can't see them flexing under load. The pre-06 wide glides had 41mm forks and all other harley's had 39mm forks.
There are 3rd party manufacturers...ceriani for instance. Their front ends are used on a lot of sport bikes. So, by that you could probably determine they are a better product because sport bikes handle excellent up to some intense speeds.
Yes, the tubes can impact performance/stability. But not sure one brand of tube is better than another given the same length, diameter. and mounting design.
Not quite a fair comparison to a sport bike tubes, as most sport bike tubes are quite a bit shorter than most HD tubes which would naturally make them more rigid when installed.
