My stock mirrors jiggle so bad I see three of four different figures behind me, it is frustrating and totally not helpful. I am wondering if these mirrors would work better on my bike and if I will be able to see better, anyone have any opinions? They are kind of skinny so that's my main worry.
I only had my stock mirrors on for a couple days, but never had any issues with them. I bought the "Grim Reapers" from Demon Cycles and have had no issues with those either. Definately the best aftermarket mirrors I've ever had. NO rattle, NO sagging (with almost 2K miles on them), no nothing. I can see perfect out of them, too! Best of all.....$43 shipped!
Why would it vibrate so bad? It's brand frickin new, 250 miles on it, there can't be much wrong at this point I wouldn't think. I have read several reviews on the wide glide and many people say the biggest complaint is the jiggly mirrors. Is there something else I should look at?
Demon cycles is where I was going to buy those mirrors from. I was looking into the grim reapers mirrors but thought they may not look good on my bike but they look really good on yours.
I like the look of the Grim Reapers, how is the quality? Will they last? Are they plasic, meaning, will they break-down from UV? Also, quality of the mirror itself?
Since 1903 every Harley ever made has had a vibration problem. What you are experiencing is normal. The first HD to sport a factory mirror came out in 1926 if I remember. Even the vaunted BMW mirrors vibrate to some extent. Get used to it and learn to compensate. If you notice a "blurr" don't rely solely on your mirrors, as there's nothing like a quick glance over the shoulders to allay any doubts as to whats really there.

+1 however my parner thinks the vibration of my Fat Bob is part of the fun of the ride if you see what i mean.
