2010 Fat Bob Mid controls
Hi All,
I have a 2010 Fat Bob That I am thinking about putting Mids on. I have been researching the mid/fwd control install on the board here. What I think Ive learned so far is that I will need, Mid Controls (Ebay), Inner and outer primary covers (since mine dont have any holes for the shaft). What I cant figure out is do i need to replace the entire shifter shaft. The one that comes out of the tranny is obviously short and has the extension on it for the fwd controls. I have a service manual on order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You really want the parts catalog rather than the service manual. I have it and I've had a quick look, it looks like you need different linkage parts to hang on the end of the shift mechanism shaft from the engine.
