Owning a 05 Dyna I hear all the comments from people who don't even ride ,or they think they know a lot about Harleys. Last year I had a black 04 Sporty , now I have a black 05 Dyna ,so I get to hear comments like , "still have the same bike ? ,when are you gonna move up to a softail? " , "that bike looks a little different then it did last year . " , or the clasic line I really hate hearing " nice sportster" .

Do like my neighbor.
He has a 03 Wide Glide. Ebay provided the following items at a good price.
Wheels, and tires off a Fat Boy.
Front fender off a RK.
Then he had the bike 2 toned and the solid fat bot wheels powder coated black.
Now they say - Nice hog, what is it?

Well for one is bigger realy that much better when it comes to harleys? I dont see why. Second there is no girls bike, The women that ride I respect, alot of them are riding the softtails now anyways. Third if you look back the closest thing to a traditional harley is the Dyna, What yr did the softtails start?
Its cool whatever customizing a person does to there bike, but I dont think yo have to make it look like a different model to be able to hold your head up or less you realy care that much what people think.
And LOL a DYNA is definatley a HOG.

I've seen a LOT of women riding Road King Customs lately. Does that make Sportys, Dynas, and Softails all girlie bikes? Real men can now only ride Electra Glides?

Well, witnessing before the choir here, but I've owned Softails, a V-Rod, a Buell, and the Dyna is my favorite H-D. Those in the know, know it delivers unlike any other H-D model.
