Finally switch out my front dunlop with a Metzeler ME880 to match the rear. With those tires, 30 tooth trans pulley, Barnett clutch spring, 25* injectors and a Thunderheader my bike has never felt or sounded better.
What diff did the 25 injectors make? (I have been thinking about this, I understand the swap is pretty easy.)
Thanks,
Dan
I had starting problems like excessive cranking and occasional stalling after start up. I also had terrible surging in first gear. I tried for over a year to tune these problems out with the Tmax and couldn't do it. The 25* injectors fixed the problems.
It was a 20 min. job swapping the injectors. The service manual tells you to remove the tank and the whole induction unit. This is not necessary. Remove the horn and mounting bracket then from the primary side of the bike using a socket extension you can remove one bolt and the fuel rail assembly will come out. Then the injectors just pop out, pop in. I put off this job for a while cause I thought it would take time and be a PITA, but it was super easy. I watched ebay for months and months looking for injectors and finally got 2 for $40 including shipping.

The metz's make a world of difference. Did you go with a 110?. That made a difference for me as well.

Nice - I gotta do that to the fender. After converting to a 49mm front end I noticed the fender is a lot higher than my old 39mm set-up. Is it just a matter of elongating the holes on the fender so it drops?
Thanks - George
