wow looks amazing, i changed to the 09 streetglide rear fender also, i just need to paint it now. but i cut the front part of my stock fender and added it to the front of the fender to fill the gap in the front. looks great though. jackyl

I can appreciate all the work you put into your bike and I think it looks good. But, I can't lie, I'm not a fan of putting an full dresser fender on a Dyna. I think Dyna's look better with the shorter fenders or the old flare out fenders. Not knocking you, it's your bike and you obviously have put the time in it to make it your own.

Looks like you're ready to begin the floorboard conversion project now ....
As far as floorboards, as I am aware, there are about three viable options for the Dynas:
(i) some 'orange' floorboards or similar single-point mounted boards that go on the footpeg mount;
(ii) FXDP Dyna Police Defender-type boards ... this line was discontinued after 2004, so most available sets are used (available on craigslist, e-Bay, classified ads) or there are reproduction boards (Wyatt Gatling - in the www dot vtwinmfg dot com catalog) that, as I understand, have fixed a couple of the problems with mounting them on '06 and later bikes;
(iii) Softail floorboards ... these utilize a three point mount, so an adapter plate of some sort must be used ... I have posted quite a few photos of how I adapted them for use on my '05 and several others (ackman1968 and u-234 come to mind) are also using them .... The floorboards work awesome for me ... one of the best mods I've done ... and the heel and toe shifter is second nature for me now ... haven't had my toe under a shift lever for years now ....

its not my particular brand of vodka but i can see (as anyone can) that a lot of time and work went into that bike.
good for you for doing it up the way you wanted it.
i don't know what it is i don't like about it...maybe the bars look off to me, or it might be the 2-1 exhaust with the full fenders i don't know but it seems like one small thing would bring me around to it.
then again it's your bike, not mine, so enjoy it and kudos again.
