2 Brake Questions
Hello all...06 FXDI...7300 miles...I was hoping someone here could help me out with a couple questions concerning brakes...1) Is the $3 Prestone DOT 4 brake fluid I can get at Wal-Mart as good as the $9 original HD stuff that the dealers carry?...Wasn't sure if there is a difference or not...2) Is there a trick to replacing the stock bleeders with speedbleeders or is it simply a matter of how fast I can take out the old ones and screw in the new ones?...I'm trying to avoid making a PITA mess out of leaking brake fluid...Any comments welcome............

i cant speak on the brake fluid, i dont see why there would be any difference... my opinion is there is no difference
As far as the speed bleeders i would do just like you said and swap them over quickly, I would have an extra set of hands, one to hold the new bleeder, and make the switch easier, to make less of a mess hold a towel or a paper towel under it to help with some of the mess, make sure not to over tighten them, i had a friend break one off and they are no fun to get out
