HOGRIDA....As for the chirping sound, my 09 SG just recently started that noise as well, beneath the tank there's a stabilizer bar that bolts onto a bracket. Check the bolts on that bracket, they mount to the cylinder heads, that's where my chirping was coming from, the bolt on the bracket wasn't torqued down. good luck

About the sharp CLICK or CLUNK noise when I shift gears, thats normal, right?

you want to hear clunk.. listen to mine when down shifting... got it so I can up shift now with little noise.... put it in 1st when cold.. now thats a clunk.. aslo mine rattles on decel.. .. like some on else said its a harley.. its running and running strong... maybe some louder pipes..

I had that damn chirp, also would get it if I blipped the throttle at low speed, or if I pulled in the clutch and coasted then let the clutch out. I and my wrench swore it was coming from up front, we were wrong though. It was a loose drive belt! once we tightened it up, the noise went away.

If it aint rattling,shaking,vibrating,chirping,ticking,poppin g,squeaking,groaning,farting and burping, then you must be riding a peice of crap import! Hell I do all that after I get off my bike.

Ditto the sewing machine sound on my '09 SGC. I think replacing the stock mufflers will fix it though.
