Hey guys..
I found this old picture of my father & I need some help trying to figure out what kind of bike he had at the time...



I can't help but think it looks like my FXDF...

I think its an FXEF Super Glide Fat Bob, 1979 or newer.

Huh... I was thinkin' an FXR, but I couldn't say with any certainty. I agree, it sure does look like the FXD family, that's for sure. That's a very cool pic!

That's not an FXR, it's a late 70's or early 80's Superglide Shovelhead motor with extended forks and after market sissy bar.

the oil bag and frame geometry is different than an fxr. i was thinking fxef due to the tanks. it is definitely a super glide with a shovel. is this the only pic you have?

That doesn't look like any shovel head motor I've ever seen . I say it's an early evolution Lowrider . Probably around 1984 .

I take that back , lol ! Here's a pick of a 1981 Fxs , with a 80 inch shovel head . Look familiar ?

That's the only pic I have with that particular bike.... here are a few others...
You can all understand how I had the fever for Harleys since I was a young pup...






My father passed away in 2006 before I got my first Harley.. I sure do miss him.

Thank you guys for helping me identify the bike in the first picture, it means a lot to me....
