Default Why Dyna?

I know why I chose a Dyna, and why I am still so happy with a Dyna. What about you? Why do you ride a Dyna model?

I'm too young for a bagger.

I'd say it was the great entry price, the look, the handling and the ride.

I've never seen a more appropriate usage of the ROTFLMAO icon... I mean, that's pretty darn funny!

Wanted a current Harley cruiser a little lighter than the land yachts, that could handle twisty roads at a brisk pace, had mid controls available and the kicker for me 2 front disc brakes. The Fat Bob was the only one that fit the bill when I bought my bike. The XR1200 hit the U.S. a month later.

not too light...not too heavy...looks...big engine on smallest frame...and as mentioned earlier, I'm not at the bagger stage of my life...maybe someday, but not there yet...

Rubber mounted motor , slightly longer than any other Dyna , or Softail , at that time . And I just wanted it . I like Softails too . Just not as much as I liked my Wide Glide . I don't know about the claim that Softails don't handle well . I ride with a couple of Softail riders , and they hang right there with my Dyna .
