Default 200 rim on a 2001 fxdx

I'm replacing my rear fxdx spocked rim after a rear end wreak. I can get a 200 rear rim off a night train. Will this rim fit. Any help will be appriciated. Thanks. Burnt Cookie

The NT rim should be 5.5 inches wide. Sounds like you will have to do quite a bit of work on fitment. I put the 6in wide Fat Boy on my '07. Pics of process are in my album.

You will not get it to fit without major mods with a 200 tire... The belt is too wide, and your fender too narrow. Maybe you can get the wheel to fit with a much more narrow tire. My 05 will not take any more than a 160 in the rear. Gonna need 3/4" bearing for the wheel and probably custom spacers and perhaps machine work on your sprocket to get the offset for the belt correct.

I put a 200mm tire (18 x 5.5 wheel) on my 01 FXDL.....parts list as follows: convert to chain, 0.9 offset trans sprocket, rear sprocket, 8 1/2 in rear fender, custom rear axle spacers, and cut/move outboard/re-weld fender struts.

yeah thats all fine and well but it sounds like he wants a quick fix.
he obviously doesn't care about handling either with a 200 tire.
those bikes handled awesome with the stock skinny tires.
find a set of stock take off dyna wheels.
