Fixed from the dealer. Looks like what the manufacturing is putting out these days.

Random question, but would a 1/4" spacer on the top and bottom shock bolts cause breakage?

I've got my rear turn sigs mounted on a 1/4" bracket on the top bolt, and a 1/4" washer on the bottom bolt to even the shock out.

My last bike kept loosening up the shock bolts, Every six months had to retighten them and apply blue loctite.
I would bottom out more than I wanted to.
I installed new 410 progressive shocks on the the sporty and even then they would loosen up. I found them loose when I was waxing it. Twice!
I used to ride 2-up on it and the extra weight didn't help.
(If you didn't know they were loose you wouldn't know it till they broke.)
This new bike is going through a suspension upgrade early.

That gives more leverage to the force trying to bend/break the stud.
