Default All bark

I replaced my stock cat-equipped slip ons with some old Screaming Eagles I bought from a forum member. They had straight through baffles-about 2" ID. I'm thinking these weren't OEM. Anyway, I couldn't believe how much torque I lost-barely had to hang on under acceleration-the SEs turned out to be all bark and no bite. Guess I'll have to experiment with different baffles. Any ideas here?

I just put quiet baffles on my straight shots after taking out the straight baffle and was very pleased with the effect. The sound is deeper and it feels like a little more torque off idle. Only quieted down a few decibles but the sound is soo different.

Do you just love the sound of what you just installed? If so you can install torque cones. They did wonders for me. Thought they were just a gimmick. SO not the case. Otherwise, baffles are the answer.

Cycle Shack makes baffles that fit into the SE's, and they really work well. Great sound, great performance.

Are they SE IIs? If so, this company make a baffle for the IIs, but I would call them and ask what may fit your mufflers.

I wish they made a set for my Rhineharts. They're too damn loud!

I would bet if you measure your pipes they have one that will fit.
