Default New Rider, New to the forums!

Hey guys just wanted to introduce myself. My names Eli im new to riding and new to the forums. I've ridden dirt bikes and atv's but never a street bike and especially not on the streets where they have lane dividers and other vehicles.
Its a new experience and im enjoying every bit of it. i just recently purchased a 2007 street bob from my company commander.
Im active duty army just returned from afghanistan and im stationed in Alaska.
Im 24 years old.
I always had an infatuation with harleys while the rest of my friends went out and got sports bikes. Spent all deployment thinking about it and recently bit the bullet and bought one.
I have 0 knowledge on anything harley so ill be reading this forum like the bible.
Im excited to join this community and expect to learn a lot from you guys.

Here are a few pictures of myself and only have 1 of the bike so far.

Previous owner took off the rear turn signals and im looking to find some to put back on... ill be changing out the handlebars too. it came with forward controls which i seem to like the shocks are different from stock i have no idea what they are. and i just got intake for it that will be coming soon.

Im the third one from the right with the cigarette to his mouth.

far left

far left again. I dont have any regular pictures just a bunch of afghanistan ones. ill post some when i get them.

Welcome to the forum Eli, and congratulations on your first Harley! I've gotta say that's one of the best intro's I've seen on here - sez it all. You'll see a lot more personal opinion than hard fact on here but it's all good!

Have fun making it 'your own' and enjoy every mile in between. You're in for a hell of a ride.

Thanks for you service.
Jeff

Welcome.

Do you still have the stock turn signals? If so they don’t take much to put on or take off. But even if you do have them I would suggest shopping for a small led set.
