Just the Pipes for a FATBOB!

i have a stock fatbob, if i throw on the V&H shortshot pipes do i need to change anything else, ive heard people say if all you do is change the pipes you wont have any worries until you start changing air cleaners, then i'll need a PCV. is this true??

yea.

you can change just the pipes or just the intake and be ok. if you change both, you will want a remap.

hey Sik... there are well over several dozen write ups on this very same topic. the answer is, and will most likely be debated till the end of the HD era...

Run a search for words like. MAPS, tune, pipes, powercommander.. and you'll have reading material for days...

In the end, your knowledge base will increase giving you the oppurtunity to make informed decisions on the MOD'in of your bike.
