Default Question for the Experts

I have a 1994 Dyna, When riding around town at slower speeds it seems really jerkey, Im talking 20 to 30 mph, I have checked the primary chain play & it seems OK. Any IDEAS ?

Sounds like a clutch problem to me. Have someone check the clutch adjustment.

If youre not tickling the clutch lever, then my vote goes to a funky carb.

What gear are you in at 20-30 mph?

Thanks for the input, I believe the carb is OK & the clutch seems fine, primary chain is OK, New plugs, 8541hog has me thinking im lugging it to much, Im thinking 3rd gear. wadda ya think ?

If you are in 3rd gear under 30 you are lugging the motor and it will lunge and jerk a bit. You should be cruising around 2500 - 3000 RPM for smoothest operation. At 30 in first I bet you are at about 1800 RPM which is way to low for cruising..
