Default /How do I replace handlebars

I remember seeing a how-to on this site before about swapping handlebars, but for the life of me I can't find it right now. shoulda bookmarked it.

Edit: Specifically I need help in tracing the switchgear wires out. One side is on the handlebars, where is the other end of the wires after they disappear into the headstock?

Thanks

Not sure on the fatbob but on the wideglide they all go into the neck of the head frame (all could be pulled out and worked on) now as for taking them out of the clips or cutting them here is some advice.

I said to my brother what a back yard hack he was cutting and soldering his wires, so when i did mine i spent the time and unhooked all the wires form the clips, long story short i wish I never ever bothered pain in the **** doing it allclips pins, covers etc. My advice is find a good spot and cut and solder them, if you can solder and have shrink wrap etc I believe this is the way to go.

Most bars now come with pull wires etc so its not to much of a issue.

Uh yeah, they disappear into those rubber caps. Where is the other end after it passes the rubber cap was my question.

Answer: inside the frame rails under the tank.

I removed the tank to find them and get easier access to those connectors. Working on disassembling the connectors now.
