Not really new, but I had mine powder coated black to match my HD Edge cut pegs.
Looks nice, I was planning to get the Silencer footpegs and having the same parts that you did and the new footpegs powder coated black. Also, I see that your clutch rod is black. Did you replace that or powder coat it too?
Looks great ... I was looking at the GMA catalog online and saw a set of pegs that have a little **** on the lower, outer edge to absorb the contact with the road when you drag the pegs ... the piece was replaceable (for when it was ground down too low to afford protection, I suppose) ....
Do your pegs have such a feature ...? Those contrast cut pegs, shifter peg and brake pedal really look good with your 'black bike' theme ....
They look pretty damned fantastic. I'm just in the process of deciding whether to make my own F/Cs or buy a set (Thanks to Krazy8s for the incredible detailed pics he sent )
I'm coming down more on the side on buying them in but can't get black ones for my year of Dyna so powder coating them will be on the cards if I do go for the bought ones. Whatever it'll all be part of the winter "playtime with a Dyna"
Hey RicMF What length shocks you got on your bike?
Those forwards look much better in black. The edge cuts are nice and when you scar them all up on the pavement you can just dress them with a file at a 45 angle and they will look like they are supposed to be that way...
