I have 12" straight risers with 1/"2 pullback on my street bob. I put a fatbob seat on it, which was perfect for the apes, but now I sit too far back for comfort. I'm 6'2". Does anyone know of a decent seat that will move the rider toward the tank? Not a reach seat.
Corbin has what they call a "close seat". I'm not sure if it comes on anything but the solo seat though. I really think their regular close seat would be too close for your height but then everybody doesn't sit a bike the same way. Might check with them or any of the major seat makers and I bet they can hook you up with a custom job.
The seat makes all the difference in the ride.
I am hoping that at 6ft tall I am able to comfortably reach a set of 11 Apes rolled forward in the trees, with a stock solo seat and mid controls.
I am running drags and 4 inch risers now and feel like my back is too curved holding the low bars.
I want to be able to roll the bars up so when looking at my bike from a side view the bar is almost straight up. My bike is an 06 Streetbob.

See I'm running 12" straight up. I need a seat that pretty much puts me almost on the tank.
I had a Lapera Bare bones Up Front seat that really puts the old jewels on the tank for that position. Thats as far forward as a seat will put ya. Any farther forward and you gonna be sittin on the tank.
It was a nice looking seat , but I just sold it to another member. As far as the 11 bars I am gonna use they have 11 rise and 11 pullback as well. So I am hoping with the rolled forward for that chopper look I will still have 5 or 6 inches of pullback compared to where your setup is currently. Risers are usually cheaper than seats so if all else fails you could sell those risers and get some pullback risers. I concentrated on getting the seat/footpeg combo to get my knees correct, now I am sitting out in the garage with a tape measure trying to get a feel for where my hands will be with various bar setups. I bought a set of 12 Licks z bars and sold em as soon as I took em outta the box. Just wasnt the feel I was wanting. You will find a setup that works for you.

I may have to modify my pre-existing seat. A friend of mine has a bare bones seat on his Dyna, but his bars are totally different, so I can't tell. I'm running a straight 12" black T-bar.

Stock Low Rider seat does this, and lowers you a bit as well.
