Back from my trip! Pics included
My dad and I just got back from an AWESOME ride up the eastern shore a pit stop to visit family in upstate NY then into Canada (Niagara Falls) back through the mountains in PA, MD, WV, and finally the Skyline Drive in the Mountains of VA! I did about 1600 miles from VA round trip and he did close to 3500 round trip from MS.
Here are some of the pics! IF any of you have a Father or Son that rides, I highly recommend doing something like this!

Looks like you had a good time!! Just came back myself from a family camping trip to Niagara Falls..Like the pic of the falls behind you..have the same one with my family. Thanks for sharing!!

Looks like fun. What kind of solo seat do you have that was comfortable for that long? I'm looking for a better solo seat for long rides like that.

Pig, how have you been? Have not seen you since the OBX ride last year!
I was running the stock seat, which actually surprised me big time! As far as luggage goes, on the front I had a Kuryakyn Grand Roll Bag, held my tennis shoes, passport, wallet,and camera in there. It is very roomy. And on my rear fender I have the rigid solo rack which I strapped a Kuryakyn Grand Tour bag on. That bag is worth its weight in GOLD! I had three pair of Jeans, 5 T-shirts, 5 wife beaters, 5 sox and boxers, a pair of swimming trunks, flip flops, my shower bag and my rain suit in there..and I had room to spare! I highly recommend that set up to anyone! I had enough stuff packed to ride for a month!
