Here's the first coat of the white wall paint on the front tire. I'll post more as I get the back & second coats on. So far not to bad to apply. In case you wondering, yes it's the paint from Orn in Iceland.
So that started life as a blackwall tire? It'n not just a repair of a whitewall?
Does it look good in person? It looks good on the pics.
Both tires started out life as blackwalls. The first coat covers real well, but a second and most likely a third will need to be done to look killer. At this point, I feel real good about the outcome. Second coat goes on tomorrow, last coat on Wednesday.
First coat front & rear done, both sides. So far I've used exactly 1/2 can of paint. I ordered 2 to be safe, and I'm thinking the second coat will cover better. Anyway, I'll post more tomorrow with some close-ups.
By-the-way, if you haven't noticed, I found another use for that Harley blanket that just sits around doing nothing.
SDMF... man what a change... I think it really does the "Bobber LooK"... The paint didn't run... with the wheel vertical? Did you use the foam brush? Only 1/2 can.. can't beat that....
WgSkee...I'm loving it too. No runs, no drips, no problem. The paint is thicker than regular paint and I used a soft 3/4" brush. It gets a little gummy after a while, but just keep stirring it and it's good to go.
That's a cool lookin Street Bob you got there. I like the way you've blacked out a few things on the bike and the white walls will give it the Old School style.
