the fillter.... im looking to get a custom plate made... only issue is, I wont be around my bike for a week and i am looking to buy it on line now...

Custom plate? Do you mean cover or backing plate that mounts to the motor?

The front of the filter is approx. 5.5 in and the back side is approx 6in.

Theirs a nifty idea I had with the air filter I tried out. I took an old CD and flipped it around with the colored side out and bolted it to the air cleaner where the cover goes. You'd have to adjust for more air but it looks cool for a quick eye catcher! LOL Ill try to post a pic. I call it the AC/CD mod! Lol
