The wife started riding last fall and moved upto a 99 883 and she is doing extremely well on it. I have an 02 wide glide as well as my 89 flhtp, I'm wandering if I would be pushing her too hard to try the 02 WG? The biggest differnce between the two is the wide glide has forward controls, overal weight and power and more of pull back style bars. Personally after alot of reading and before innitial decision to buy her the sporty I think the 02 wide glide would be an easier bike to ride as I had read lots of how the sporty has the higher centr of gravity. Can I get some comments and recommendations?

I rode my husbands night train and it was very uncomfortable and I could barely reach the handle bars. I had to almost lay on the tank. Even though the positioning sucked the ride was awesome! After riding that bike I wanted a bigger, faster bike. Let your wife ride it, then brace yourself for a new investment.
