Default screamin eagle race clutch

had the screamin eagle race clutch installed. lever is unbeleivably hard to pull. If I switch to hydraulic will this ease the pull ?

Hydraulic setups do tend to be easier to pull. You may try switching to a high quality clutch cable. It willl help. That SE Clutch will make a man out of you real quick. I got the SE spring in mine and its tough, but you will build up to it if you give it a month or 2.

I would sell it and go back to a stock type clutch. Unless you are running over 110hp, you dont need it. My 100hp 95" was fine with a SE spring and plates.

I am now using the SE plates and a SE spring with an easy pull clutch ramp setup. I also have a BDL ball bearing lock up pressure plate and the clutch pull is similar to stock. It holds just fine with 110hp and 123tq.

You could also get the easy pull clutch ramps and try that.

I, too, have the SE pressure plate and it's a bit stronger pull...I wanted to put on a hydraulic clutch for aesthetic reasons but the techs advised me not to claiming the engagement wasn't very progressive; all at the end of the lever travel...

Like I said, you could try the easy pull ramps. They are cheap and worth a shot. Part numbers 25605-00a and 25604-00a. They are about $20 total. Install is pretty easy.

Hydraulic clutches have little to no feel, either all of nothing.

Have you tried using the stock spring with the new clutch pack or vice versa?

So if I put the stock clutch springs in with the SE race pack I should feel a noticeable difference???

I have the Barnett clutch, It comes with 2 sets of springs so I staggered mine with 3 heavy and 3 light, I have more clutch than I need and the pull is not very much different from stock.
