Installed the Wood Cams today!
I followed the manual and it was a breeze. Bike runs much stronger and the idle sounds great with the lope.
Heres a video of it, the sun did weird things to the camera and the exhaust is clipping the cams mic. Took the bike for a long ride and love the throttle response. The top end sounds pretty close to the what it sounded like before. I cant wait to open up my heads this winter, may go ahead and do the big bore too.
Heres all I had to buy:
Cams
Orings/gaskets (pushrod tubes, cam chest ect)
Vance and Hines Fuel Pak (Ebay $35.00!) will get a TTS later but this is actually working great for now.
Thread Lock blue and red
Torque wrench that measures inch pounds
NO cam shims needed for my install, the factory one was .130 and it worked perfect with the Woods.
Used the stock push rods too.
Tomorrow she gets a bath!!
