Default Installed the Wood Cams today!

I installed my Wood TW408-44 cams today. For anyone who's sweating a cam install on a 07 and up bike, dont be... Its a pretty simple job.

I followed the manual and it was a breeze. Bike runs much stronger and the idle sounds great with the lope.

Heres a video of it, the sun did weird things to the camera and the exhaust is clipping the cams mic. Took the bike for a long ride and love the throttle response. The top end sounds pretty close to the what it sounded like before. I cant wait to open up my heads this winter, may go ahead and do the big bore too.

Heres all I had to buy:
Cams
Orings/gaskets (pushrod tubes, cam chest ect)
Vance and Hines Fuel Pak (Ebay $35.00!) will get a TTS later but this is actually working great for now.
Thread Lock blue and red
Torque wrench that measures inch pounds

NO cam shims needed for my install, the factory one was .130 and it worked perfect with the Woods.
Used the stock push rods too.

Tomorrow she gets a bath!!

I'm interested to hear what you think about the low end torque....when does it come on and fade off? I'm thinking about swapping my 255 cams for these as I've seen some impressive dyno charts but i'm not sure if it is worth it for these cams since the 255's hit hard low and have a wide power range as well.

Well i can't really compare them to the 255s but they come into the powerband quick and pull hard until the rev-limit. First gear is done quick. More torque then stock for sure, a slight change in lowend but really not enough to worry with. A 30 tooth pulley will more then compensate. I'm going to boost the compression when i get the heads done, but for now I'm really satisfied.
