Default fat bob liscense plate bracket
ok... so I hate the stock plate bracket but I'm not finding much out their for aftermarket. I need ideas. Let me see what ya got. I'm thinking of a side mount.... maybe

I had a side mount license plate until I bought bags, then I had to relocate. I bought this LED Brake/Tail/Turn Signal setup from Cycle Visions. It's not cheap but it is rock solid. I used to have the LED Tri-Bar light from HD but had issues with the tabs breaking. I could have repaired it, but didn't want to. I really like the current setup. The LEDS are very bright and like how I was able to remove the rear sigs.

This is my set up. Like you, i hated the stock license plate. I built this side mount and cleaned my back end up.

I'm sure you could but you would have to do some re-wiring. This setup is plug n play. Here's a video I posted on YouTube.

PS: The video stops abruptly at the end as I lost the grip on my camera while trying to remove the sissybar/bag setup.

Jones - Thanks. I can't tell from your pics, but make sure your license plate bracket is really sturdy with a good heavy gauge metal. I had one vibrate and break. Lost my plate and my fancy HD skull bolts... These bikes really like to rattle stuff loose.

try custom dynamics website, they sell something like those front turn signals.
