Default I am beyond ok !!

Turns out my tssm module went bad, and the dealer will not cover the costs. I bought the bike off of a trade. Not a salesmen demo, like I was told. So The dealer started the warranty with the first owner ,then transferred it to me. This is a 300.00 dollar part. I want to bypass the fob end of the system I currently have The tssm I priced them at the dealer , Is there any way I can find the tsm. Without the alarm cheaper than 300.00 .

What were your signs of the TSSM going bad? Would not start? Did it start running bad before it failed?

Is it the FOB or the TSSM? If the FOB did you change the battery? Not trying to be a SA, just curious.

Yeah, double check your fob battery. You pretty much have to change them annually, I do so on the anniversary of purchase date. I believe it's a CR3220??? Anyone care to confirm my number?

"First one fob, then the other fob..." sounds like a problem with the fob batteries.

"Will not start..." does the alarm activate, ie the turn signals flash... alarm sound?

"Dead key..." does that mean the security code that you enter with the turn signal switches doesn't work?

Just remember the MOCO warranty is for 2 years from new irrespective of the owner. Also check batteries in both Fob's as they seem to expire at the same time if used or not.

Sorry too mislead, everyone. Both batteries were replaced , That was the first thing I did. Now It's a question on whether the dealer will work with me a little bit. I willl be in contact with them later today. It's gonna be a long time before i get up three hundred bucks. Irregardless I 'm gonna get the part number for the tsm. Screw the fob bullshlt . I saw too many stranded motorcyclelists from a system that is clearly not perfected. I'll be in touch later, Where do I start with E-bay? I have a few web sites lined up' I was also wondering If the other dyna models would work, Eh screw it I'll get the regular tsm. Kiss method.
