I have an 05 super glide and just recently put the progressive 11" 412 shocks on the rear. The bike still handles the same to me. Possibly a little stiffer over hard bumps but nothing too noticeable. Very easy to put on, took maybe 15 minutes and looks great. 2 inch drop.
I put on the Burly Brand Slammer shocks, they are 10.5 shocks. I haven't felt to seen and diference in the riding or handling of the bike. Corners great. I sometimes ride two up and haven't had any issues there either. If you check out some of my pics, you'll see the diference in how much the back end was dropped. It only took me about 15min to change the shocks once I had it on the jack and in the air. I would recommend putting a 2x4 under the rear tire before lowering the jack to keep the rear end up high enough to get the jack out from under the bike. I picked the bike up new in April and lowered it about 2 weeks later and now have close to 8k on it.
I lowered the front and rear on my 2010 wide glide. went with progressive 430, 11". It looks sick, but word of warning, you WILL scratch. Loading it on a trailer is another task .
I have a 05 Lowrider and lowered the rear 1" with progressive shocks ride is good I am just a little careful on the entrance and exit of some parking lots and such
i will try and post pics later

I lowered my 2010 wide glide about a month ago. I threw some progressive 430 11" on the rear and 1" lowering springs up front. It looks bad ***!! Two problems I've run into. YOU WILL HIT THE FRAME/PIPES/PRIMARY on speedbumps and weird angled areas with uneven surfaces. Loading it onto a trailer is a workout. Second issue is the wiring under the rear fender. Either relocate it, or secure it better than it already is. I somehow tore the wiring when my tire rubbed the underside of the fender. All signals and brake lights will stop functioning. Other than that, lowering made the biggest difference. Better look, better ride.
