Default Progressive shocks for a Dyna??

I was looking around for a good 1" lowering kit for the rear of my 2012 SG. All I can find from progressive is a 11.5" shock dont want the 10.5" burly. I have a 1" LA choppers lowering block and it rides ok. I was wondering if anyone has tried a dyna shock on a glide, they make 11" progressive shocks for the dyna but was wondering if it would be a terrible ride because of the different bikes. I was looking at getting a 11" 430 any info would be great.

Oh and the lowering block is coming off if I put on the 11" shock, not trying to bottom out everywhere.

I have 11.5" 430's on my King, not a lot of rebound, and wouldn't go any lower. IMO the ride with any shorter shock would be too harsh for anything but a one up bar hopper.

We've never tried it, so I can't say that it will work. BUT, I will say that if you were going to try, I'd go with the heavy duty 430 from Progressive. A heavy duty Dyna shock should be like a softer than stock touring shock. Just a thought.

Call progressive, they can probably help. I know you're not looking for a 13" shock, but in the 440 series, the 13" XL 1200 HD shock, carries the same part number (440-4002B/C), as the standard 13" touring shock. They probably have some other shocks that cross reference each other.
