Just purchased a chrome oil filter bracket and carb top cover, question is are they easy to install, being a lady rider and all? Or should I take them to my bike guy?

1) I installed a chrome oil filter bracket on my '97 Wide Glide. I thought it was easy - you should be able to do this. Follow the instructions and look at your manual.

2) Unsure what you mean by carb top cover. Have not done anything with a carb though.

Go into my pic that show 9 pics and the fifth one over, click on it and you can see the round black cover sitting just below the tank. I believe it's the top of carburator.

You should be fine, carb cover only has four screws and lift off slowey when removing. There is a spring in there that you don't want to fly off. Good luck.

Did you get your carb piece changed out yet? In case you haven't it would probably be a good idea to remove the carb completely before doing any disassembly. I've had the carb off my bike about a million times and it's pretty simple. Also is a good time to adjust and lube the throttle cables.

I hope I'm understanding correctly what you want to do...
