Default Shocking!

Thought that would get some attention. So I am tthinking of new shocks. Something better, black, and not to really, very expensive. Been checking them out on line, in Jnp, and where ever I can. either don't know enough about them or don't have the green backs for them. Suggestions (HOLY SHNIKIES... question about better parts and not problems).

Are you looking for a shorter shock to lower the rear or a stock length shock? You can get Progressive 412's in black for around $200. They aren't really a better shock then the stock one but you can get them in 11" to lower the rear or 12" to stay stock length if you want. Better performing shocks will cost more.

not looking to lower so much, just looking to first modify the looks, second to improve the handeling (If that's possible). The bike handles great as it is, but blacking it out and want something that will not take way from the ride.

If your shocks are the same quality as the oem FDX its going to be really hard to take something away from the ride.

My .02: Id save and get some upgraded shocks

I took my stock shocks, shaved a coil, then powder coated them
