Replacing Cobra II Light Assembly
Purchased a Cobra II bullet headlight and wanted to swap reflector and lens with the original. The problem I am having is I can't remove the trim ring to remove the cobra's lens. I removed the set screw, and tried to gently remove the ring with a screwdriver, but it won't budge.
Has anyone else had this problem trying to swap lenses or changing the bulb?
Need help before I switch to a bigger tool and f... everything up.

I haven't tried it yet, but I read on here somewhere that people put tape on their thumbs (sticky side out) & use that to help turn the ring. Also, you could try double sided tape....may take a helper to give you 2 more thumbs...!!
