Default questions about switching bars

so i ordered some 18" apes, 1.7" risers for my 2010 wide glide. i'm going to order the clutch/throttle cables & front brake line hill county customs, and extending the wires myself (i'l take a pic of the plugs for wire placement before i start) and here are the questions.

1. any particular brand of lines should i look for?
2. besides the gasket on the trany & brake fluid do i need any other parts?
3. is it hard to remove the clutch cable retaining clip in the trans? i read it can be done without a tool.

any HELPFUL experience on doing a handle bar swap is appreciated...

thanks i'll post pics when i'm finished.

you dont need any special tooks other than allens and basic sockets (jewlers screw driver for the plus on the wires comes in handy as well) do not over tighten the clutch cable when you hook it up, they will snap, only tight enough...
I buy all my parts from Doc V twin on here, great prices and he is a forum sponse Drew and Sean will get you hooked up bud just give htem a shout

Make sure you get with whoever you are going to buy the cables from, before you order, and find out how THEY measure their cables. They might not include the fittings in the measurement.
