Default Front Wheel Wobble Anyone?

so i layed my 03 fxd down two months ago due to an asian lady blind siding me. Anyway, the only real damage i could tell was to the bars and the forward controls(dont ask why nothing was damaged, it weas a miracle) at the time. so i got new bars and controls and got evrything cleaned up and looking like new again. i take it ouit for a test drive and the front wheel is wobbling so bad that i dont even feel safe taking it up to 3rd gear. after careful inspetion i noticed the stock spoke rims needed truing cause some spokes were loose and the rim out of whack somewheere. realizing that i wanted new rims i just bought a 60 spoke compared to a 40 and left the back rim the same until i change the tires in a few thousand miles. so after a new front rim the bike rides MUCH better but it still SLIGHTLY wobbles. my front end doesnt seem to be bent anywhere and the only thing i can think of is new tires or rear wheel alignment.....anyone have any suggestions??

Do a more thorough check of the rear.

could be that the frnt wheel may not be trued or balanced correctly, rear wheel alignment may aslo be the issue, or a combination of the the 3. but it seem that your nearly there with gettin the problem nipped in the butt!

check wheel and steering head bearings, they can be broken.
Are u sure that fork legs are not bended? And which brake rotor do you use?

If your front tire has alot of wear that can cause the front end to have a wobble or shimmer to it. And can you explain the wobble with more detail, does it seem like the bars are going to be jerked out of your hands, like a wheel bounce, or a steady hard vibration, does it do it at all speeds or just after you hit a certain point.

at freeway speeds it feels really shakey, like a vibration that could potentially be really dangerous but at street speeds i can just feel/see it go from side to side in forks. the tire does have some cupping, so im thinking new tires and alignment should fix the problem..
