how long to relearn new pipes ?
Hi Dondee,
I put V&H slipons on my 09 fxdc this summer, and had some decel popping.
A buddy told me to check for leaks where the new muffler connected. Sure enough....
Removed the mufflers, and reinstalled using a little muffler cement , and the popping was reduced big time.

Turns out there is something to this "learning" thing.
The other day I turned my ignition on, and while I was waiting for the check engine light to go out, my ecm started reciting the abc's.
I was quite impressed. Modern technology. Gotta love it!
