I have the edge brackets on mine with FLH hard bags and my only complaint is that they rattle/squeak if you don't have enough weight in the bags. More of an annoyance than anything else.

I bought some Ghost brackets late last year. When I mounted them one side had significantly more rattle than the other which I root caused to be a poor machining job on the locking lever. This lever is held on by a Philips head screw that is openly accessible from the bottom of the assembly - meaning that you wouldn't need a key to get the bags off of the bike. I returned the brackets for a full refund and the people at Edge were easy to work with.

Those bags are really nice and a bit pricey. I like em though.

I had Easy Brackets and they rattled to beat all hell. I was never able to completely resolve this issue.I came to the conclusion that my throw over bags looked and worked better as throw overs.I think it might take me a whole minute longer to remove throw overs than to remove a set with the Brackets. The throw overs did destroy the paint job on my back fender but that's only because I tried to use them without a two up seat to hold them securely.

I had the Slim easy brackets on my Sportster, decided on BareBacks from cycle visions for the FatBob. Much more stable. they don't lock on, but most people think they're hard mounted. Very stable and 30 seconds off or on.
