FXD Speedo Question?

How much slack does the stock speedo wiring have on 07 superglide? I was thinking about putting on 6.5" straight risers and drag bars, and didnt know if it would work.

Putting a tach on my stock bars required about 4" of extra wire.

You can use 4 inch risers, but 6 and a half is going to be too much of a stretch. Expect some hair pulling electrical problems down the road if you can get the clamp up there at all.

I suggest relocating the speedo to the risers and tossing that stock speedo mount.

To get the control cables back to where they should be after ditching the buckhorns took me 8" risers and 30" wide drag bars.
