1200C Stock to drag handlebar change
I changed out the entire speedo housing and ditched the stock 4" hollow riser that comes on the 1200c. I put on the speedo that comes on the Sportster 72 and a few other models.
Part List:
55846-05A - Chrome Speedo Housing
67089-05 - Chrome Speedo Back Cover
67104-95 - Speedo Cushion
67121-95A - Front Speedo Gasket
68813-07 - Wire Harness
68513-95A - Warning Lamp Bezel
56541-86A - L Handlebar Clamp
56542-86A - R Handlebar Clamp
2325 - Screw x2 - For Lamp Bezel
Now for the good stuff! For those of you that want to know what the riding position is for drag bars and stock bars here you go! Note: I am 6'0 so that give you an idea of the reach.
Stock:

Drag bar with stock risers:

Stock bars on 1" risers:

Drag bars on 1" risers:

Ultimately I decided to leave the stock bars. I liked how it looked, and I like my riding position much better than before. I'll ride them like this for a week and if I want to go lower, I still have the drag bars. They only cost me $30 bucks at J&P cycles so who cares if I never use them. Great quality though, for anyone who cares. I highly recommend them over the over priced harley jobs.
Here is the finished product:

Hope you guys all enjoy! Didn't take me long at all, about 45min. Now I just have to polish her up and ride. If this rain stops...
