Anyone seen the FXDC Cool Blue Pearl and Vivid Black?
Looked through the forum and have found a couple posts on RG's that are solid Cool Blue Pearl, and with most things you get people that love it or hate it. I'm wondering if anyone has seen the Super Glide Custom with the blue and black. I think the black would offset the blue a little bit and mellow it out. Haven't had the chance to see it yet (other than the website), still stuck in Iraq for another month, but our year is about up. Looking at getting the FXDC, just haven't made up my mind about the color...was curious what people thought that had actually seen the bike in person.
Thanks!

Yeah, I've seen it and I think it's beautiful. The blue jumps out at you more than the pics would lead you to believe. I also really liked the two-tone Candy Root Beer. In the end I went with the straight black just because I was watching every penny, trying to buy a new bike on a used bike budget.
Bought a 2010 Vivid Black FXDC last month. They had just gotten in a blue/black on the day I rode mine home. It looked pretty sweet. Black and chrome is hard to beat though.
Thanks for the quick replies, guys. I'm really glad to hear that it doesn't "wash out" in the sunlight or in person. I agree, the black and chrome is a hard combo to beat, but that blue really caught my interest. I wanted to make sure it wasn't something I'd come to regret and then start looking for the nearest paint shop!
Bought my bike from Iraq... Should be delivered any day now. Just curious why you didn't get a 2010 close-out? The deals were pretty good IMHO.
I'm pretty happy with the 2 tone blue/silver. But my only other choice would have been the purple. (I don't care if it has a cool name... Its still purple! no thanks...)
AFHarley, when I was doing up my paperwork they said my delivery date was too late for the 2010's, so I got a 2011. We still have a little while before we get Stateside, and then it'll still be a couple months before I take delivery. At the time, they hadn't started the close-outs yet. I really like that blue/silver combo you got. That blue is really nice...was hoping they would keep it, but the cool blue is a lot lighter. I'm just glad to hear people say (who have actually seen the bike) that it pairs well with the black.

Yeah I heard it would have to be signed over and delivered prior to Dec 15th. Congrats on the bike, I'm sure you enjoy it!
