I just wanted to give you another option. Since I finally figured out platform meant floorboards, heres what I have. These are pretty inexpensive half moon shaker floorboards. $66.00 plus shipping on ebay. They are no where near as nice as the previous guys 4 point setups, but at least its an option for you to look at and see before you decide what you want to get. They might even be reason enough to get the more expensive ones if you don't like this style. Anyway, heres a picture of the simple bolt on floorboards (platforms) bolted to my bike.
One more thing, I really like your bike and agree a full rear fender would make the bike. I am installing this full hinged fender on my bike this weekend. I don't know what size or width your bike needs, but these are 80 dollars on ebay, are 7 inches wide and are very thick heavy metal fenders.

I have the Watts floorboard kit on my 2009 FXD Super Glide and realy do like them.
I am not a heal-and-toe shifter so I cut the heal section off. I am 5' 10" in hight with a 31" inseam and I am very comfortable with the setup. I have some pictures of my install in my album.
