I got the one from Dennis Kirk (which is a Drag Specialities part) last year and it went from my Sporty to my RK to my Street Glide. The problem with the smoke laydown is finding a bulb. I ran an aftermarket red bulb in mine and didn't realize unil it was too late that the bulb was touching the lense. Last year it ended up melting to the lense and burning out the bulb leaving me with no rear light. And this was at night. Luckily a nice cager informed me that I had no rear lights. I ended up going with an LED bulb which has less than favorable visibility. I just switched to the Street Magic smoke LED taillight and couldn't be happier. Super bright and looks better than the old DS lense.
