I know a lot of people prefer apes, for both look and function. With my larger than average arms, the ape reach tires my shoudlers. And with 30+ years of snowmobiling, I am used to bars being in the position of these new ones.
It just feels "right" to me. 2 years ago when I was getting ready to leave a deposit on an 05 DWG, I added a similiar bar to the estimate. I just knew from sitting on them in the show room that the stock bars weren't for me.
If the weather stays nice, I will get some outside pics from farther back for a better look.
Man your garage is spotless or is that your family room (LOL).
Thanks....it actually was a little dirty in the pics after the bar swap. Maybe I'll get a full view pic when I get better bar pics. You guys would love the calenders, posters and the shot glass collection shelf
Yup, you see a 24oz BUD. That I was drinking while taking the pics at 6pm the next day.
I did punish a bunch of barly pops after I got the clutch cable in and the brakes bleed. I made it a life rule 19years ago. No alky when fooling with brakes until I am done. If anything ever happened I would always wonder if I f'd up because of the booze.
But after using the wrong fluid, doesn't seem like it mattered this time [:@]
You CAN use DOT 5.1 on DOT 4 systems, but you can't mix them. you have to drain the whole system and then flush it, then add 5.1. It doesn't attack the rubber.
