just wondering if anyone would know if a seat from a 02 wideglide would fit and bolt up to a 08 streetbob just found one on craiglist that is a good deal but my bike it tucked away back in the barn for winter
Thats right 06 or later DYNA only.
No Wide Glide seat will fit a Super Glide, Super Glide Sport, Super Glide Custom, Low Rider, Street Bob.
Forgive me for psuedo jacking this thread but I ran across some seats that I was interested in for my FXDWG. Would a Sportster or Dyna Low/Super etc. fit on an FXDWG? How about Soft tails?
Are there any other saddles that would fit Dyna Wides? Reasons why not(could I mod the base, bend, fold, spindle, mutilate) ???
Base line reason is: I am looking at taking off the OEM saddle and going with the Gunslinger or Badlander style. MARFORHOUSE does not feel the call of the wild and has no interest in riding, so I want a more solo look but like the sloping style of the Badlander and there are lots on Ebay...
Your inputs/advice/expertise will be greatly appreciated.

I thought all 06 & up Dyna seats (including the wide glide) were interchangable.
Well, that one of the things I am wondering about also. I simply do not know enough about the variations in frames amongst the breeds. Other types (Sportster, Softail, etc.) look like they might fit but I cannot afford to experiment. I also do not have the spare change to hand over $400 on a LePera, Gunslinger, or Badlander.
